John joins the Ryan Blackorby team after 25 plus years serving as an Illinois Conservation Policed Officer. His love for the outdoors spawned a great career serving the landowners of Fulton, Tazewell, Peoria, Woodford, Knox, and Marshall county. He has earned the trust of landowners in central Illinois after protecting their farms for many years.

John grew up hunting rabbits, quail, squirrels, waterfowl and deer with his dad in Fulton County IL. His passion for hunting and fishing has taken him to Idaho to chase Elk, North Dakota to hunt ducks, and Manitoba and Ontario to fish. Ultimately John’s favorite place to be is right here in Central Illinois bow hunting for deer, small game hunting, waterfowl hunting and teaching his three kids how to live the outdoor lifestyle.

He has walked a lot of farms in Central Illinois and knows how to spot a good whitetail hunting parcel or a great recreational piece of property for the whole family to enjoy. John lives in Washington with his wife Roberta and their 3 children. Along with his expansive knowledge of the region’s best rec land and great outdoors John has a genuine desire to help people with their rural and residential real estate needs.
